Restrict Pilots From Finalising Missions Without Approval
Configure mission finalisation permissions for the Remote Pilot In Command when authority approval isn't required.
In FlyFreely, the default permissions for mission finalisation are determined by the authority’s approval requirements.
-
Where an authority does not require an approval process, Remote Pilot In Command (RPIC) can finalise their own missions.
-
Where an authority requires an approval process, the RPIC must submit the mission for finalisation so that an approver can complete the finalisation step.
The organisation administrator can modify this permission. This setting is only available for company authorities that do not require an approval process.
-
Navigate to the organisation admin panel
-
Click on 'Authorities'
- Click 'View Authority' for the relevant company authority
- Click 'Edit'
- Under RPIC Can Finalise, select the relevant permission
- Yes to allow the RPIC to finalise their own mission
- No to block the RPIC from being able to finalise their own mission

Where the RPIC cannot finalise their own mission, they will need to submit for finalisation.
Use cases:
- Ensure operating requirements are followed
- Ensure compliance across all missions
